From wild gypsy house parties in snowy Ukraine suburbs, to club nights and the bright lights of Manhattan, NYC, Drunken Balordi’s music has taken them to some of the most exiting musical hubs in the world.

Their debut gig at the famous *100 Club* in Oxford St.London was a fitting gig for a band with such strong punk roots, attitude and energy. With their eclectic roots from Italy/South Africa/Ireland/New Zealand they play a crazy high energy gypsy punk and completely work the crowds into a party frenzy.
Driving their fusion sound of World Punk, Balkan, Klesmir and Folk tunes which sight The Clash as a big influence they have quickly gone on to support Stiff Little Fingers, The Levellers (Vikadel Fest Norway) Alabama3, Kultur Shock, The Popes and Shane MacGowan, System7 (Edenfest in Scotland) in 2009/2010

Drunken Balordi are a band with a fast growing following of rowdy fans through out the world as can be seen at any of their shows, and are definitely one of the few bands who never fail to deliver a great show every time, in any venue however big or small. They are party Kings and will have you dancing or pogo-ing whether you like it or not.

They are regularly booked to headline club nights as well as their gigs. Having recently played 3 consecutive dates in New York, one of them the legendary Mehanata Bulgarian bar in Manhattan, were they absolutely blew the roof off, already being invited back within days of getting back to the UK receiving the following quote – *Dj Mistho’s Mehanata Bulgarian Bar NYC* – “London based Drunken Balordi is combining rugged vocals, acoustic instruments and folky/punk licks to produce a fresh gypsy punk sound reminiscent of early Gogol Bordello. This one year old band is able to raise havoc with the crowd in minutes, as I witnessed last night in Mehanata.”

Drunken Balordi have proudly completed their debut album ‘Drunken Balordi’ capturing and harnessing their energy which is due for physical release May 15th. Creating something the music industry has been crying out for such a long time now.
